Prescription Drug Addiction, Programs and Treatment.

For those who follow reality TV, Whitney Houston’s drug addiction is not a surprise. “Being Bobby Brown”, the show that featured her husband, showed both in situations that are famous in the reality TV circles. What was painfully obvious, however, was that Whitney Houston was suffering from Drug addiction.

Her career was not what it used to be; once a powerful singer with an amazing voice, she was now constantly tripping on drugs, and was made a near-mockery of.It wasn’t just the TV show that made her drug addiction obvious. Whitney attempted to perform for a few different occasions while she was still in the midst of the drug addiction. During these performances, Whitney looked incredibly skinny and frail. To make matters worse, she would sweat easily, and during one performance, just stopped right in the middle of the song and walked off of the stage.

Whitney’s drug addiction began to get worse. As the public appearances became more sparse, she began to look worse. Everyone was snapping pictures of her, and seemingly, snapping photos to confirm and solidify her drug addiction. Everyone wanted to know what was going on with Whitney. In the midst of a drug addiction, she just wanted to be left alone.

While Whitney Houston’s drug addiction was a spectacle for the media and the tabloids, it was still serious. After years of drug abuse, and multiple trips to rehab, Whitney has finally launched a fight against her drug addiction. Houston left her husband, Bobby Brown, who was seen as someone aiding her drug addiction. She began to work on a new album, and is in the process of completing it. As difficult and strong as her drug addiction was, Houston has found a way to beat the addiction and get her life back on the right track.
